Anilox screen line should be typically 3.5-7 times than plate screen line,which can prevent the bad printing caused by dot gain or dirty plate. When choosing the correct anilox screen line, confirm the diameter of the smallest dot of plate first ,and then calculate the right screen line.
Installation Instructions
Daily Maintenance Of Ceramic Anilox Roll It is necessary to maintain the anilox roll daily. It is a direct guarantee to prevent roll damage, extend service life and obtain the stable high quality of printing and coating operation. 1 The roll must be stored in a dry indoor place in order to protect it from moisture and direct sunlight which can damage the roll. 2 Please protect the roll surface when handling it. Never store the roll without cleaning. Please use the natural fibre paper to wrap the roll. 3.Please never lay the ceramic roll surface on the ground, which can cause the damage of coating. The right way to store it is to put it on a holder. 4.Please move the roll by fixing belts or other supports on the roll shafts and avoid touching roll sides or any part of ceramic coating. 5.The roll must be cleaned as soon as possible after use to remove residual ink or coating medium. 6.Please use the microscope to check the cells frequently. If the cell is clogged or worn out, action should be taken immediately. 7.Please set up a magnetic filter in the ink or coating medium tank which can avoid the metal impurities demage the roll. 8.Please never over press the doctor blade which can increase the abrasion of roll and doctor blade. 9.Please never rotate the roll against the doctor blade. 10.Please reset the pressure when a new doctor blade is installed. 11.Please stop using the doctor blades that have exceeded their maximum wear. It is useful to have a regular check of blade which is helpful for the constant control of blade wear. 12.Please always keep the roll and blade aligned. Check vertical and horizontal alignment every 15 days. 13.Please never use bad quality ink or coating medium. 14.Please remove the dust from the surface of printing or coating materials and always keep clean before operation. 15.Please adopt the correct ratio between the cell opening and depth which means smoother roll surface and slower abrasion of the doctor blade. 16.Correct daily maintenance of anilox roll (1)Daily Cleaning Use the solvent to clean the ink or coating medium first and then use the stainless brush which has a dia.0.07 mm steel wire clean with the special cleaning solution. (2)Chemical Cleaning Solution Use the special cleaning solution to immerse the anilox roll, and rinse the roll with a high pressure spray system. Then clean the residual medium, rinse it with clean water and dry it with air. (3)Dry-cleaning System Based On Baking Soda It is useful to clean the cells through the spraying the baking soda powder to the roll surface with low pressure. (4) Ultrasonic Cleaning Immerse the roll with the chemical cleaning solution in the slow rotation, the ultrasonic cleaner can create micro bubbles which will burst under the pressure. It is really important to adopt proper ultrasonic strength, frequency, time and solution temperature to protect against excessive cleaning which will damage the cells.
